Negrita Hostel

Fabulous hostel with a great host who helped us with bus planning our routes around Uruguay. Two super cute cats roam around the hostel. We had the private room which was comfy. Short walk to the beach which was beautiful. Would stay here again. Thanks!

Absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were so incredibly helpful and made the experience even better. We got an overnight bus and therefore got in quite early but they still let us check in before our time and went out of their way to give us good recommendations and recovered a lost item of ours from a bus in Montevideo. Couldn’t have been happier with this stay.

Super lovely stay at this hostel! The staff were super friendly and answered all my questions. The place itself is adorable and has great communal spaces. It’s very close to the beach in La Barra which was just as nice as the ones closer to Punta del Este. If you’re okay with being a little farther away from the nightlife of PDE, I definitely recommend this place!
