Nice hostel, good value for money. The lady who owned the hostel was great. She got us a great price for a day trip to Tikal and a shuttle to Semuc Champey. Would recommend. The room did get very hot at night but that’s just Flores

The female hotel owner here, Brenda was condescending, rude and disrespectful about any of our issues. She came across like she didn't care once she had your money. She got entirely the wrong room that we had booked on hostel world. The description on HW says it comes with balcony but she said no that's impossible, dispite showing her our booking and what it states on HW she wouldn't let us have it. Ants everywhere, wires over the shower head, glass missing from the window. DONT STAY HERE.

Overall it's fine for a night. The stuff was friendly and it was clean. The view from the room was also nice. The facilities are run down and very old. The kitchen had one knife so if several people wanted to cook at the same time it was not possible.I felt like everyone could walk inside although there is someone sitting at the entrance. Also if you travel solo it's not really social.
