We are an eco house hostel located in the heart of the Mayan world jungle. Saraguate eco hostel is our little oasis created to protect all kind of flora and fauna. Our eco house is built with re-used materials also using the ancient Mayan Technics, on the shores of the beautiful Lake Petén Itzá,

What a great place to come and relax and disconnect from all around we offer you an amazing experience to enjoy animals sights and bird sights, also enjoy the waters of our beautiful amazing lake Peten Itza. Have a full Peten experience all Mayan archeological around, come and enjoy this amazing beautiful and cleansing experience at Saraguate eco hostel.

Saraguate eco hostel - Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 12:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash only.

Taxes included.

Host is an awesome dude, super chill and organized. he texted be back faster then my ex and was always helpful. hostel is super nice everything was to my satisfaction. 10/10 would book again

this place is the definition of relaxation:)very clean and cosy by the lake. I stayed for over a week and I was very sad to leave. the staff is the friendliest and they really make you feel at home. all the meals they cook are very delicious and filling. you can book anything through the hostel, Ivan helps you with everything. I went to Tikal and Yaxha with some travellers and we had a great time (Jessica was an amazing guide). it can be tricky to get here at the weekend, so text Ivan about it!

Beautiful place, super chill. Ivan is an awesome host and great to hang with. I love the mosquito nets for the beds as well. A little bit out of the way from Flores but tbh there’s not a heap to do on that island anyway so I would recommend coming to Saraguate to relax and do the Tikal sunrise trip
