City Backpackers Hostel

Very good, clean room. Roommates are quiet. I am tourist from Hong Kong comes with another friend for the duo trip, this hostel is close to some local food and shopping sites. Very good !

Arriving alone in Vietnam was a little daunting but this hostel was really friendly and everyone i met was kind and polite. The reception team are very helpful and the room was as good as any hotel I have stayed in, if not, better. I even had a little balcony although I did not get to use it as I was so busy most if the time. The location is in the heart if the city but there was no noise that I could hear. Perfect.

First, the female owner was very helpful with a city map and arranging a tour. The room was nice and clean. However, I had to leave early due to security concerns. My first morning, someone tried to open the door and then quietly left. Strange but okay. The second night, someone actually tried to break in. It was terrifying and thank god the lock held after ten minutes of trying to force it open, but when I told the man on duty he didn’t care at all. Just said “well that happens”. I left ASAP.
