Mayan Monkey Los Cabos

Uninterested staff. Lumpy mattresses. Expensive food in small portions. $20 drinks. Ungodly loud terrible music until very late. No organized activities. No knowledge of local happenings. Ignored by staff white sitting at the bar. Dirty plates left until you leave the table, no checkup about meal by waitstaff. No wonder they don’t get tips. The nicest people were the cleaning staff. They got my tips. I’ll never go there again.

Great atmosphere, there really is only 1 hostel in Cabo this is it. They take an active approach by creating social events such as cooking classes, yoga, karaoke. There is a mixed bag of travelers some young, some old and For the price I wasn’t upset.

Fantastic hostel with lots of free activities including yoga, cooking, and karaoke that made it easy to meet other hostel goers. The breakfast is excellent - it's like a restaurant where you order off their menu. The location is right on the marina and walking distance from the local beach. My only complaint is that the music around the pool can be a little louder than I prefer, but they were willing to turn it down when asked. Most of the staff are lovely, including the owner who is a badass :)
