Atacama Roots Hostel is a hostel for travelers and venturesome folks. We are pleased to welcome people from all over the world and share with you the adventure of exploring the driest desert in the world. We will offer you the best recommendations to visit the most emblematic places of the Atacama Desert and its surroundings. We know that they want to invest their time and energy exploring this inhospitable region of the planet, so we try to meet their basic needs by providing WiFi in common areas, showers with hot water 24h and shared kitchen equipped. Although it is true that as our guest you will have access (entrance and exit to the facilities) without restriction. You are welcome!
We are located in one of the best areas of the town, near to some of the finest landmarks and tourist attractions of the area such as Valle de la Muerte, Valle de la Luna, Museo del Meteorito and Mirador, amongst other interesting places and elements that you can visit across our town.
We have several types of accommodation options, both shared and private, all of them fully equipped to bring the best possible stay to our guests and travellers within our facilities. Get ready to enjoy one of the most privileged views of the sunset of the Cordillera de Los Andes right in our patio. We will do everything possible to make your stay in San Pedro de Atacama a memorable visit.
