Hostal Americana

Unfortunately it was not what we expected. It seems like it’s not a hostal anymore. Together with one other traveler me and my boyfriend were the only guests, the other persons lived there. The whole property was super run down and the cleanness was the worst. ( evethough I have travelled a lot and stayed in a lot of places.) For 2 days the toilets were covered in excrements. around We arrived Saturday and there was no toilet paper, when I asked the staff, they say it will come Monday again.

Seemed odd that some things were disorganized even whilst such few people were staying at the hostal. WiFi is good which is always a plus and the people I met there were nice enough although the place constantly smelled of weed. I think the place was very dusty as well, and I say think only because I kept having wild allergies and I'm not 100% sure it was from the dust, but there was something in the air there (I also heard other people at the hostal sneezing a lot). Location was a plus for m.

Great staff, super chill laid back vibe with great common areas.
