This was a great 3 night stay, Carlos was very hospitable and kind, floors and bedding were clean, and there’s nice rooftop view. The location is ok, you are very close to a lot of great food and beaches, just be cautious of your surroundings after sunset and use common sense, I had no issues, but I could see where others might. Highly recommended this to experienced travelers and hostel stayers.

Host’s add said there was air conditioning in each bedroom, security lockers, and that a towel was included. There was NO A/C anywhere, no lockers, and no towels.

Carlos treated me like a little sister. He watched out for me, advised me and protected me. We had a group dinner every night…whoever showed up! 😃. he takes security very seriously. He will turn away anyone that poses a threat to his patrons…thus ensuring our safety. He is in touch with other hostels in town to add extra security through information sharing. He May be able to arrange an outing for you on the boat as well! My favorite place was the rooftop terrace. An amazing place!
