We loved Teocalli. Very simple clean rooms without many frills. Clean and well maintained. The kitchen was pretty simple- fridge, dishes, two burner gas hotplate...not much else. We didn't really use it. The upstairs deck was nice in the morning and evening but too hot during the day. We did use the clothesline to dry our swimsuits. The location was great- it's very secure and about 2 minute walk from the Malecon- we were right in the middle of everything and an easy walk to all activities.

An affordable, safe place to stay in the perfect location. Very close to malecon and zona romantica. It isn't fancy but it had all we needed.

Jonathan was a great host at Teocalli Hostel! We felt very safe and taken care of. We ended up needing to extend our trip, and he was very accommodating. Even helped us get food when needed. Definitely will stay again and highly recommend this stay!
