We booked the private room and found it be such a lovely retreat after a 2 week trek. The private outdoor balcony was great, and we enjoyed the restaurant that shares a space with the hostel, Raaithane. We also were glad to be within walking distance of Patan durbar and the museum there.

This is how a hostel should be everywhere in the world. It’s not just a place to take shelter; rather, it’s a space where you can make friends, share experiences, and get to know others' stories. I am a solo traveler and hiker, trying to explore the world as much as I can. But at Patan Next Door, I saw how the organizers actively make you a part of a travelers’ community. Here, you can easily make friends. I really wish I could have stayed longer.
