As others mentioned - cleanliness is lacking but you really can't beat the location if you want Portside. Elly (volunteer) was very helpful. Very nice to have a fridge in our room other than the fact we're not "allowed" to have alcohol on the premises so - no cold beer. I'd stay again if I really wanted to be in the town.

Great Hostel! Super chill and Valeria, Elli and Ivan are beautiful humans!! They were super helpful, patient and friendly. The answered all my questions with day trips to Cenotes and Tulum. They went above and beyond to help arrange diving with King Scuba - an excellent dive company. The facilities are simple but comfortable enough with options to hang in the living room/ cooking area or on the rooftop. Only recommendation is to make doors to common area washrooms more sound proof.

Very welcoming staff, nice rooftop and dorms. We stayed well here and in Puerto Morelos. I think the only downside is the traffic that you hear over the night
