Doobaki Hostel

A really cool hostel to visit. Full of lots of amazing pictures and items from around the world made a great vibe in this hostel. It's in a great spot in Gyeongju to be able to go walking in the National Parks, as well as see lots of local attractions for a short walk. Also has a pub downstairs which is groovy. The staff were excellent and great to chat to. I'd certianly return if I visit Gyeongju again.

Room was quite small for 4 people living together, simple breakfast provided. Shower toiletries provided was a plus, as well as consistent hot water. Location is most convenient to go to Bulguksa temple, Bomun tourist complex and Gyeongju station by bus, but it is quite far away from other main attractions like Gyochon village, Donggung and Wolji Pond, and Gyeongju National Museum.

Great free breakfast and kitchen facilities. Rooms were nice and warm with private bathrooms, and a huge lounge to socialise. Only downsides is the other guests were all quite introverted but that can’t be helped, there were perfect social spaces to socialise if the right people were there. No locks on the bedroom or main door either, or a locker though it did feel very safe. I liked the hostel alot
