Blueboat Hostel Gyeongju

Great Hostel in Gyongju! very friendly and helpful staff! Nice location to explore the historic sites and beyond if you have time (the coast is interesting but bus takes an hour +)! Great morning breakfast and very good feeling (like a boutique hostel)! everything is organized and you might meet some worderful travelers as well! It is quiet however evening and night!

The staffs are really friendly and helpful with all my requests and questions. The whole places really gives you a feel of traveler’s “temporal home”. It is comfy and treats you well. ❤️ The only thing I have to be picky about is the male toilet. It smells kinda bad to me esp around the urinal next to the shower. I can understand that it’s def the user’s problem but it will be better if the flush system was improved, or at least, get some new air-fresher 😅

Such a lovely and peaceful hostel! I had booked a four-bed room but they gave me a single room since I think they had empty rooms spare, which was very much appreciated! Got a great nights’ sleep and then the owner’s mum was kind enough to keep my bags in the bakery downstairs while I spent some more time in Gyeongju after check-out. When I picked up my backpack later on she even sent me off with some bread from the bakery for lunch!
