Free Spirit Hostel Guadalajara

I strongly advise against this hostel. I booked a bed in a shared 4-bed dorm, as advertised on their website, but when I arrived I found out that only an 8-bed dorm exists. The room I booked simply does not exist. Since I arrived in Guadalajara late at night, around 10 p.m., I had to look for alternative accommodation. Hostelworld immediately refunded me, and another guest told me he had had the same problem. Highly not recommended.

I booked and stayed in the private room which was great. The booking wasnt on the computer system in the hostel so they had to take a photo of the booking on the hostelworld app off my phone for confirmation which was a bit odd. The problem is the toilets and showers, they need a full renovation to be decent, plus toilets need to be checked on every few hours rather than 1 time per day. Showers lower level has no pressure at all, upstairs has a tiny bit but the floor tiles are broken up.
