Conveniently located in the heart of Krakow, just minutes away from the Main Market Square, Freedom Hostel offers easy access to the city's top attractions and historical landmarks. Whether you're here to explore Krakow’s rich history or enjoy its vibrant culture, our hostel is the perfect starting point for your adventure.

We provide 34 comfortable rooms, each equipped with modern amenities including private bathrooms, TV, and free Wi-Fi – all at competitive rates. Our rooms were renovated in January 2015 to ensure a fresh and cozy experience. With a 24-hour reception located on the ground floor, our friendly and knowledgeable staff is always ready to assist with your stay and offer recommendations to help you discover the beauty of Krakow.

We have three beautiful, fully-equipped kitchens at our disposal, with fantastic city views, for those who prefer to cook their meals. After a day of exploring, you can relax and chill out in our interiors.
An elevator is also available for your convenience.

Hostel Services and Policies:

Cancellation Policy (Standard Rate Bookings): Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival. For late cancellations or no-shows, the first night’s stay will be charged. Non-refundable bookings are charged in full at the time of booking, with no cancellation option.

Check-Out: Before 10:00
Reception: Open 24/7
Payment: Cash, credit, or debit cards accepted. The hostel may pre-authorize cards before arrival.
Taxes: Included in the price.
Breakfast (lunch box): Available for 19 PLN per person daily (not included).
Age Policy: Guests under the age of 18 must have permission from a legal guardian to stay at the property. (only in private rooms).
Children (up to 3 years old) can stay free of charge.
The price for guests aged 4 and over will be the same as for adults.
Curfew: None
Pets accepted: one-time fee 30,00 PLN

Wonderful stay at Freedom Hostel! My private room was clean, cosy, spacious enough and comfortably warm. Nathalie at reception was lovely, and communication was always quick and efficient. The bathroom is small but functional, though the sink is very close to the toilet; pillows could be bigger. Neither was a problem for me. I didn’t use the kitchen or common areas. It’s a quiet, peaceful hostel rather than a party place, so I slept very well. Highly recommended — I’d definitely return!

it is a place that you go to just for sleeping, and it's really good at that. The rooms are exactly big enough to walk in, go to the private bathroom, and go to bed lol. I felt safe, the rooms were clean, and it's in a reasonable location. it's close to a nice park, with lots of pretty pigeons. This is a hostel that is the minimum you need. sleeping, private bathroom, and a desk. Also! I really appreciated that the heater worked, most other hostels I went to on my trip had no heat.
