Overall I give this hotel a low score for multiple reasons first, they had no hot water for 2 days. I just finished the EBC trek and was dying for a hot shower. 2nd,they were needing to repair light bulbs which should have been completed prior to offering room. Not a big deal but it is an interruption. 3rd and this is the biggest issue is that I reserved 3 additional days and was going through Hostel world and they told me I didn’t need to, and they increased the price the next day. book thru HW

I stayed at Hotel Sekai for the night before flight and I’m sad I couldn’t stay here any longer. The location is near Thamel but far enough from the hustle and bustle where you can get a good nights sleep. The room was big enough to accommodate two people in a private room. I had even forgot my jacket on the bus from Pokhara hours before and the reception staff helped me get it back TT. They were really nice and accommodating. I recommend staying here for your stay in Kathmandu.
