University of Galway - Rooms

We booked an ensuite double room which was clean , comfy bed, lovely shower. Personally, am used to 2 pillows so probably could've requested a second. It was nice to have an area to cook & relax Overall, the accomodation suited our needs & on a bus route (10 minutes from city), we experiened sigificant sleep loss/ disturbance. Other guests in the appartment came back waking us with loud voices & constant banging doors. We were also woken by the beeping noise at 5am (sounded like a forklift).

The cleaning ladies are very nice and they do their work very well. As for the people who work at the reception it’s another story, no smile, limit if you can get a hello and they let you know in their attitude that you are bothering them and they have no time for you !! If they don’t want to work there they shouldn’t.

Place was good, but no coffee nearby. It was hard to get breakfast somewhere without driving. The barista on the food truck never came, and no place nearby to purchase.
