An alright place for a night. Basically it's just 12 beds in a room There are no other facilities apart from a table and chairs out in the courtyard. On the plus side at least there are two bathrooms. The owner is a nice enough guy but there's more to a hostel than filling a room with bunk beds.

Colibrai Traditional Hostel offers good value in Samarkand, though it's about 3km from the city center. Clean and comfortable, the hostel boasts friendly staff, especially the helpful, English-speaking Abdul Aziz. The resident cats are a charming bonus.
