Situated in the vibrant neighborhood of East Harlem, New York, East Harlem Hostel offers a comfortable and convenient stay with free WiFi throughout the property.
We are a staff-less and contactless property, but we are always available to assist you as needed. Each of our air-conditioned rooms is equipped with a desk, providing a cozy and functional space for your stay. Please note, our rooms are intentionally small—designed for guests who want to explore the city rather than stay indoors.
We provide Towels and Bar Soap. We do not provide Shampoo/Conditioner. We provide sink hand soap. We provide new towels every 3-4 days and new sheets every 5-6 days.
Located just a 15-minute walk from Central Park and a 24-minute train ride to Times Square.

We offer both Refundable and Non-Refundable rates:
• Non-Refundable Rates: Payment is required at the time of booking. No refunds will be issued for cancellations or changes. Taxes are Collected by East Harlem Hostel, not Hostelworld
• Refundable Rates: Payment is due within 24 hours of booking. We will attempt to charge the card used at the time of booking. If payment fails, we will contact you. If no valid payment method is provided within 24 hours, we may cancel the reservation. If you cancel your reservation within the free cancellation period, you will receive a full refund. Taxes are Collected by East Harlem Hostel, not Hostelworld

Cancellation Policy:
• For refundable rates, you may cancel your reservation up to 14 days before arrival without penalty.
• Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be charged for the first night of your stay.
• In the event of a no-show by 11:59 PM on the day of arrival, you will be charged the full balance of your stay.
• The above cancellation terms do not apply to non-refundable bookings.

Check-In:
• Check-in is available after 4:00 PM (local time). Please keep noise to a minimum if arriving after 10:00 PM.
• 10 days before arrival, you will receive a registration link to agree to the terms of stay and upload a photo ID. Once completed, your door code will be issued. WE ISSUE PRIVATE DOOR CODES FOR EACH RESERVATION
• Early check-in requests can be made separately and are subject to availability.

• We do not offer luggage storage at the hostel, but nearby facilities (7–10 minute walk) are available. Storage details will be shared along with your door code after registration.
