Wow the private rooms are really terrible! There are air conditioned villas close to the beach for this price.
I got a single private.
I booked and paid for two nights, but left after the first night as I couldn't bear staying there. The owner made a random racist remark about Indians while showing me around the place. I asked the owner about mosquitoes when I arrived and he claimed it was not an issue (it was). He also charged me over the hostelworld price. Claiming taxes were extra, even though hostelworld price was clearly stated as inclusive of taxes.
The room had a horrible spring mattress with a visible curve that gave me backache in the morning. I was also bitten by quite a few mosquitoes. The rooms are back to back incredibly tiny shacks built out of thin plywood outside his house with no sound insulation or ventilation. Prepare to be uncomfortable if you sleep here.
The location is far from anything interesting. There are much better options in barbados, don't stay here. You'll regret it.
