La Cocotera is a Hostel with Coworking space in the heart of Tarifa.
Home and office for digital nomads, freelancers and remote workers.
Feel at home and share a home with amazing people. We have private or shared rooms and many corners to create warm conversations, especially on the rooftop when the sun is shining! The common areas have a kitchen and dining room.
Your laptop and/or iPad are your faithful travel companions, we have created comfortable work spaces with the best Wi-Fi connection in the old town!
From our terrace you can get inspired with a view of Morocco and create synergies with all the nomadic workers who visit us.

Cancellation Policy: 30 days before arrival:
STANDARD RATE
The customer can cancel the reservation free of charge up to 30 days before the arrival date. The customer will have to pay the full price of the reservation if they cancel within the 30 days before the arrival date. The customer will have to prepay the full price of the reservation within the 30 days before the arrival date.
NON-REFUNDABLE RATE
The reservation amount will be charged to your credit card, or we will inform you about payment options. The payment is non-refundable. The customer will pay the full price if they cancel the reservation. The establishment will charge the full amount at the time the reservation is made.
TERMS & GENERAL CONDITIONS
- Group bookings of more than 2 rooms incur an additional 25% charge.
- Check-in is on the day specified in the contract, between 1:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
- Late check-in: After 10:00 PM, you can check in late by notifying the accommodation in advance to receive entry codes.
- Check-out is on the day specified in the contract before 11:30 AM. Late check-outs will be charged an extra 10€ per person and are subject to availability.
- Any damage caused by the guest to the property or its facilities will be assessed by the owner and must be paid for before departure. If damages are discovered after departure, we will contact the guest, who will be responsible for covering the costs.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the rooms and common areas, except on the terrace. An extra charge will apply for those who do not comply with this rule.
- Parties, alcohol consumption, and large gatherings (botellón) are strictly prohibited and will result in an extra charge to the room's registered guest and eviction of all guests.
- Losing or misplacing the accommodation keys will incur a 10€ fee.
- La Cocotera is not responsible for external issues such as noise, construction, interruptions, or utility outages that do not directly affect the property, or other similar causes beyond our control.
- Children of all ages are welcome. Children up to one year old can stay for free.
- In shared rooms, your bed will be assigned at check-in. If you use a bed that was not assigned to you, an extra charge will apply.
- Pets are allowed upon request for an additional 10€, but only in private rooms.
- Reservation modifications: You can modify your reservation by contacting our reception if you chose the general rate and there are more than 30 days before your check-in date. If you chose the non-refundable rate and your reservation has already been paid, we cannot modify your reservation.
- Only registered guests are allowed to enter the hostel or coworking space.
- Bed linen is included in all rooms.
- Extras: Towels are included in all private rooms but must be requested at reception. In shared rooms, towels are not included but can be rented at reception for €3 per towel. Rented towels must be returned in good condition at the end of the stay. If a towel is returned damaged or stained, a €10 replacement fee will be charged to the room.
- We offer free coffee and tea.
- Laundry services are available for 4€ for washing and 4€ for drying.
- Use of the coworking space is included with your stay at La Cocotera.
- No-show policy: If you do not cancel your reservation before the deadline and do not arrive at the hostel on your check-in date, we will charge the full reservation amount to the card you provided.
Check in from 13.00 to 21.00 (We work with code systems at the entrance doors and it is possible to check in late at any time, having previously organized it.)
