Suitcase Stories is strategically situated just a 15-minute walk from the iconic Kalighat Kali Temple and within close proximity to other major attractions such as the Indian Museum, Victoria Memorial, and Park Street Metro Station. We don’t accept bookings for Indian 45+ male and 55+ female.

Alcohol and marijuana are not permitted here.

If you are found consuming them, you will be immediately thrown out, and no refund will be provided.

A decent enough bed & shower but obviously they are not diligent about changing the bedding. Found a pack of cigs in the pillow that a previous tenant left, clearly no one bothered to change the pillowcase. No curtains on beds, no lockers. The dorm door did not have a lock or key but you could secure it from the inside. Fridge was unusable, warm and ant infested. AC in the girls dorm kept shutting off randomly, annoying & ruined sleep. But close to the metro and the city center.

it's a wonderful place! Particularly very safe for solo women travellers! The host treats you like a family and ensures you are well taken care of! Security is good. Accessibility and connectivity are good too! overall a good place for travellers on budget! The dorms are comfortable too and you have a separate female dorm!
