Lighthouse Eco-Village

Super nice place great vibes all around really good food at meals. Hard to get to you can’t be inexperienced on a scooter and taxis don’t like going up the hill but if you take your time you’ll be fine. Very remote nice to get away from the crowds and people down in the city. WiFi didn’t always work very well. Lots of animals all around, ants in tents and lizards in showers and dogs all around. Ultimately it was a great stay but take some time elsewhere to see the rest of the island.

Beautiful view and atmosphere which we loved!! The bathrooms were very nice and always clean however it was very hot in the dorms as when we arrived the room fan was broken- just something to consider if you are not good with heat when sleeping etc. We also did not mind the drive at all as we have motorbike experience, but if you can’t ride it would be very difficult to get too.

The Lighthouse Eco-Village is a place where everyone brings a part of their home. This very community centered place has many nice activities. Super safe and inclusive. Breakfast is delicious and the view is beyond stunning. It’s not easy to get to, but it’s definitely worth it, I only love Koh Tao because of The Lighthouse Eco-Village!
