The Lighthouse is not a polished resort, but a living project on the cliffs of Koh Tao. Perched above the sea and surrounded by jungle, it’s a place where mornings begin with yoga on the deck, evenings end with movie nights under the stars, and days are shaped by shared meals, music, and the sound of goats wandering nearby.
Life here is raw and simple. You’ll sleep in a rustic dorm or bell tent, shower under the sky, and watch storms roll across the bay. Expect unfinished corners—gardens still being planted, bamboo beams waiting for their next layer, projects in motion that you’re welcome to join.
This is not for everyone. The Lighthouse is remote and reached only by motorbike on a steep, rough road. Nature is everywhere: geckos on the walls, insects at night, chickens and creatures moving through. Facilities are basic, but community is strong, and the magic is in building together.
If you want infinity pools and cocktails, look elsewhere. If you want starlit skies, jungle silence, and the chance to be part of something growing—welcome home.
