Booked for one night & ended up staying for a week! As a solo female traveller, I felt extremely safe & loved the friendly staff & social vibe. The location is ideal, walkable from the Old City & convenient to major spots, while still being away from the city buzz. The Lake Pichola views & sunsets are incredible, and it’s the only hostel I found with a pool. The property is extremely spacious, with clean dorms & washrooms. I’ve stayed at other hostels in Udaipur & they felt much smaller.

Had stayed at Young Monk Hostel (Jaydurg Haveli) from 25th to 29th June 2026 and it was indeed a pleasant experince.I had booked a superior room and the room was large and spacious with a big window on looking Lake Pichola. The bedside wall, window sills and other places were beautiffuly and artistically painted. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean.Location wise it was right at the middle of everything. Ambrai ghat, Upre, Jagdish temple, everything was really close.
