We had a great experience with Big Joint! The owner was very friendly and helpful and the place felt social and clean. We rented bikes to take to the Trang a boats and then we had time to come back to shower and get food and drinks before our night bus. I would definitely recommend!

Awful hostel. Don’t stay here. Doors to hostel rooms don’t close leading to animals coming in in the night. I woke up to a cat on my head biting me. I am extremely allergic to cats and this caused me hyperventilation in the room and therefore being unable to sleep and feeling awful with an allergic reaction. Doors don’t close, meaning absolutely 0 security and safety, and wild cats crawling over you in the night. Reception had no sympathy or interest in compensating me and were awful and rude.
