Fat Margaret's

My stay at Fat Margaret’s was awesome! Staff was very helpful with main sights in Tallinn (even though they pointed me to a closed post office). The facilities are great. The sauna was very unique (first hostel I’ve seen to provide a sauna), and you can even play your own music. The building is a little bit old and therefore the floor is creaky. When someone walks outside the room, it is clearly audible. Mattresses were a bit old and stained, but the sheets were nonetheless clean, so it was OK

I dont kow how to describe it but I did feel like staying there for more days,an unusual feeling for me.

Excellent location close to old town, walkable to port and station and the building is really nice. Doors and floors carried noise so if guests weren't being considerate late at night or early morning then they'd be woken which I was a lot. There were limited facilities, only one shower and 2 toilets on 2nd floor meaning I had to carry my stuff down to the basement to shower. There were no events on during my stay so cannot comment on atmosphere but I think I was unlucky with fellow guests
