Old Town Munkenhof

Excellent hostel. Right in the old town so easy to walk to all the sites. Grocery store is a 10 minute walk. Nice kitchen and comfortable bed. Clean washrooms and showers with hot water. Two lounges with sofas and arm chairs to relax.

Good hostel! Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The kitchen is big and provides everything for cooking. The place is clean and staff were helpful and friendly.

Reception staff aren’t usually present, but when they are, they’re helpful. Showers and toilets are terrible: too few, far away, and no hooks or shelves for clothes/towels. As a woman, I wouldn’t recommend the mixed dorms: little consideration for others, lights on/off, doors slammed or left open, and some guests with poor hygiene. I appreciate the cleaning staff, but their team lacks boundaries. Good common areas and kitchen. Decent bed, loud lockers, no privacy. Functional, but uncomfortable.
