I really like Macondo, has a great atmosphere and seems to be the most popular sop in San Gil. Shaun and the staff are really easy going and full of knowledge. So much easier booking tours at a reasonable price in one place than spend a day trying to save 5000 pesos

One of my favorite hostels in my trip to date. So welcoming, Shaun the owner is great, full of suggestions and just friendly and fun to chat to. They a great job organising activities like football and tejo on some of the quieter nights and they have a notice board showing who's signed up for activities the next day so you can easily meet people and make friends this way. Couldn't recommend enough!
