Definitely a hostel to consider if you find yourself in Barranquilla! The staff are so so lovely and helpful and the kitchen is well equipped. The Aircon in my room was really good and I liked that you could control the temperature yourself unlike other hostels I've stayed in

Stayed at Mamy during Carnaval. It’s loud, but everywhere is loud during Carnaval! The hostel is very basic by most standards however they were very good at making sure the bathrooms were always kept clean (tho weirdly my bedroom floor was dirty) and there were always staff on hand to help and filtered water available. A few small things would help make things more comfortable - hooks/rails etc to hang things, both in the bedroom and bathrooms. Totally fine just for somewhere to sleep.

The best treatment I have ever received. Facilities, price, etc. all great but the staff are next level. So friendly + helpful. The owner even drove me to the hospital when I was ill, he argued with the staff and got a good price for me and drove me back at 1am. So many good things to say about the staff, they really look out for you. They make it feel like your home very quickly. Highly recommend to anyone, but it’s essential for anyone who has a longer stay you will be well looked after. 10/10
