This had everything we needed and we’d highly recommend staying here. Our room was clean and had a lovely balcony. We had breakfast, which was all freshly prepared and we could sit overlooking the river. The common room was welcoming and the kitchen small/basic but had a fridge and everything we needed to made a quick pasta meal. The staff are lovely and location is excellent.

Casa de Cecilia is well located and a nice peaceful place to stay. You can sit by the river, take a dip and watch the hummingbirds. However, I think a few tweaks could make the property a bit better. There wasn’t much going on when we were there, and the communal areas could benefit from some more comfortable seating/ hammocks or cushions. We also didn’t have any hot water for our stay which was a little surprising and it didn’t get fixed either.

Great location, super accessible to walk into town. Staff were lovely, upgraded us to a private room. Only downside is you have to pay for the drinking water.
