Karuss Hostel

I enjoyed my stay in the hostel. Room was comfortable peaceful and private. Leidy and Luis were amazing and very helpful hosts. They even went above and beyond trying to help me with suggestions on my Medellín itinerary all the way from getting down from the airport and how to go to the city. Thanks for the great work! If you want partying and meeting a lot of new people this might not be the place for it. At least in the few days I stayed. This place leaned on the calmer private side.

Best hostel we’ve stayed in! Luis and Leidy are the kindest hosts—teaching us to cook arepas and salsa dance, making us amazing local food, and helping us plan our trip. They made us feel like family. The location is perfect: right in lively Candelaria but set back enough from the road for a quiet sleep. Rooms are spotless and comfy, WiFi is strong, and the peaceful courtyard is a lovely place to relax. Truly a special stay. 100% recommend!

We could not have picked a better place to stay in Bogotá. Leidy and Luis really looked after us well. We stayed for 5 nights in total, either side of a trip to Venezuela and they let us leave our luggage there for free. They were very helpful and gave us lots of recommendations on what to do in the city. Leidy even gave us chocolate bars and coffee during our stay. The property is well-located, within 10 minutes of most popular tourist spots. It is very secure as well. Amazing place!
