So I only stayed one Saturday night in Garoa, but it's decent. Best thing is the location. It is literally inside a busy bar which is on a super lively street, with lots of other places to go (be warned if you dont speak Portuguese, there's not a lot of tourists).I didn't use the kitchen but I noticed they had a washing machine.Showers/toilets were basic.Room was clean with spacious, lockable storage under the beds, which they give you a key for. Overall a good place for a night or two.

Hostel located directly on the “party street”/right behind a bar, so the noise is horrible! Staff is friendly (especially Samara!). No running water for 12 hours a day and horrible beds.
