Not bad, security was ok but the bar inside the hostel is open to the public and all the doors leading up to the rooms and, in my case, including my room, didn’t lock or were broken and the lockers weren’t the most secure even with a padlock. Vibe at the bar was good as lots of locals to socialise with but very few backpackers actually staying there. Staff were pretty absent but when I did speak to them they were really nice and helpful. Not very clean but bathrooms were ok. Good location.

Got recommended this place, would not recommend to others. Had to pay 1468 KES in total, and paid with 2000 KES. The “receptionist” told me he’d be back with change from the bar, as they didn’t have any at the reception, fair. After waiting for 30 minutes I just went to my room. They did have lockers for your stuff, but all the hinges were broken, so they couldn’t be used. The mosquitonets were torn apart. Next day asked for my change. They could only give me 300 back. Unprofessional place!!
