Jackie & her family were so welcoming! It is a beautiful hostel surrounded by jungle. It's less than 150m from the airport and the whole town is walkable. There were only a few of us there so I can't speak too much to the atmosphere but the property is huge and beautiful! The rooms could be a bit cleaner but it was very appreciated to have air conditioning

The shower head caught fire from an electrical fuse problem, and almost electrocuted my boyfriend who was standing under the water and filled the room with smoke (staff said it was only 10 watts, it wouldn’t have been bad). We were moved to a room with mold on the walls and an ant colony. When we brought it up to staff they guilt tripped us, claimed to check the showers everyday but then revealed he didn't check it prior to our arrival. This facility is unsafe and not maintained.
