Very dirty!!!!! Had to ask several times for new sheets! But the trip to the great wall was a extraordinary experience! the guide was lovely! We all enjoyed it! We also loved it , because it is close to metro line 5!

We booked a three-bed room which is actually just a two-bed room that they add a third bed into to make it into a three-bed. The drain in the bathroom would not drain very well but at least there are bathroom slippers left in there for you to wear. Right next to the subway which is very convenient and a short cab ride away from lots of cool places.

Improve quality of cleanliness and the wifi network. Great trip to the Great Wall.

2 minutes from the metro station (you should only choose the proper exit from metro), very easy by subway to go to different places of interest. It's quite in the hostel, cosy, rather warm in the rooms, roms are very nice, wi-fi everywhere. Very helpful staff, a lot of good & cheap local restaurants nearby. Hostel offers different tours, for example, to the Great wall (we attended one, very-very good - they take you to the real ancient part of the Wall).

Directions to hostel were beyond confusing! Aside from that the stay was good. Did a tour through the hostel which was fantastic, only thing was that the English tour guide did not speak a lick of English. Quite comical.

Very good location. less than 5 minute walk from subway line 5. The first lady couldn't find my friend's reservations, but mine came out no problem.

Excellent location. Close to the subway station to get around. And the food was pretty good and there's a bar. But the service was AWFUL. I had a reservation and it took them an hour and a half to give us our room. And the staff members were getting upset when it was their fault they weren't organized enough to trace our reservation. Plus, the massage they offer is HORRENDOUS and overly priced. I wanted to stop midway, pay to get it over with and leave.

The hostel was in a great hutong neighbourhood. About a 5 minute or less walk to the subway which was fantastic in terms of getting around in the city. The room I stayed in was very clean and the staff extremely friendly. For those looking to party, this might not be the best hostel but in terms of atmosphere and character, this place has tons!

I am a local who stayed for a night at this hostel. I chose a 8-bed mixed room and the living environment is very satisfactory. The room is clean as sheet changed upon someone left. I like the poeple there as well. Moveover, good location which is only 5 minutes walk to the nearest subway station, 10-minutes bus distance to the bar area. As a local, I have a good experience to meet new people from other parts of the world and enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Only hope staff could be friendlier!

first 2nights were terrible. 1. due to 8 beds dorm is full, receptionist arrange me to stay in 5 beds dorm instead but she attempted to make me absorb the difference between 5 beds and 8 beds dorm. But it's the fault made by 9 dragon, why pass the buck? 2. 5 beds dorm is untidy. bed linen and quilt seems never be changed and washed. 3. the door of 5 beds dorm bathroom can't be lock, checked with receptionist but be informed that the bathroom is communa that's why the door is unlock. it's redicul

Unfortunately I stayed at this place after Peking Yard so it had major competition. They were nowhere near the standard of that place. The staff were as helpful as they needed to be, the cafe was closed while I was there, the communal area was non-existent, the room was a good size but the not clean and in a poor state of repair, the shower was grimy and the bed was a wooden crate with a blanket folded as a matress - it was a joke.

This hostel is located in a tiny alleyway near a metro step and bakery. It was very busy during National Week but they let us extend our room stay for two more nights, so the service was good. They have a few computers for internet. Hallway smelled like smoke, but I was always out of the hostel anyways. The amenities could be a little nicer, but for its value and location, it was definitely worth it and I would want to stay here again if I didn't have money!

The hostel is good and the tour to the great wall, excellent. Maybe the only thing about the tour is the lack of a good english spoken guide, but anyway was amazing because we were the only guys in the wall.
