Pros - had a bathroom and shower in room. Great central location. Staff was very friendly. Had plug in and light next to bed for top and bottom bunk. Cages in room, were provided to lock up bags. Cons - stuffy room that got very hot. Two of the people staying in the hostel were living there which seemed a bit weird. The wifi reached the room but did not work a lot of the time.
Great place, friendly staff, very clean hostel and very warm. There are swipe cards if you want to get in, no curfew and they provide a free breakfast. Thanks for a good stay! :-)
I was the last person to arrive at the 12 bed dorm and someone was in my assigned bed because someone was in their bed and so on. The whole situation was messy. Other than that, fantastic place!
We coudn't sleep because behind the hostel there is a night club so you listen all the time the music and other guests were very impolite knocking our door and doing a lot of noise during the night. Dirty the toilet

The private room was very lovely but definitly too expensive !
Best place to stay in Galway ! City center, in a cool street inbetween shops and restaurants and close to the bay. Clean, safe & warm place. Excellent staff, helpful, smiling and nice. I enjoyed my stay in Galway a lot thanks to them (not so much for the weather haha). Big up to Sean for having a sense of humour and being so cool !
Great but included breakfast, which wasvjust toast, so a bit misleading.
Fantastic hostel in an even more fantastic location. Beds are very comfortable, staff is helpful and friendly, and again: the location is superb. Restaurants, pubs, great views are right out your window. Spent one night in a 12 bed dorm, which was comfy and safe, and the other in a private, which was even better. (The private also provides towels, a godsend in the midst of hostel travel!)
I've stayed in a lot of hostels in Galway and this was by far the best one.
Very enjoyable stay. Pass on my regards. Just say to them that it's from the two old guys from Scotland, they'll know who.

Positive points: The staff was amazingly helpful and offered all their vast knowledge of the city as much as they could. I got some great non-usual recommendations of things to do in Galway and had a great time! Negative points: This hostel is full of groups/Families. It does not have the "hostel feel" and it would be more suitable for larger groups and families because it is run like a hotel more than a hostel.
