I've stayed here for an extended amount of time. I've had several problems staying here but it hasn't been an issue to my experience at this hostel. Whenever I had these issues, the staff was really helpful and quickly helped me alleviate the problem. Good: The staff has been really friendly and often speak good English. Many of the people who stayed here were often really friendly and talkative. Bad: Food isn't good and overpriced. Elevators were poor. Bathroom and room were bit dirty.

Good friendly atmosphere, rooms were good, value for money. Restaurant staff were extremely pleasant but (unfortunately) often got orders wrong (e.g. when I asked for tea with milk they gave me olong and milk).

Great hostel, bit more action, drinking and planned activities would be nice tough..! People sitting in the lounge starring at their notebook texting from shanghai instead of experience it... Nevertheless, cool and recommendable place

The place is great, is near a metro station and very easy to get from the airport. It is also near of the downtown. The common room is amazing, bar, pool, darts... But the best is the staff, very friendly and helpful.

There is construction on one of the floors that is in progress. The Hostel occupies one seaparate floor. There was a lot of dust and intermittent noise. The rooms are small compared to other places. Restroom stalls and shower stalls are located in an area that also has rooms across from these facilities if you're unlucky to be placed there. The internet is incredibly slow and only accessible from common area. The common area only has a large couch , loveseat, gets crowded small tables w chairs.

There is construction going on around the hostel (on different floors) so it could be a little annoying if you want to sleep in or have a rest in the afternoon. It isn't their fault, but ....... Once that is complete, the hostel will be much better.

Had a nice time. Things to consider...very slow internet. Can get rowdy at night. Excellent location. Good price on laundry. The young woman they recently hired was really enthusiastic and fun to speak with. Wish I caught her name to thank her personally for a great stay.

Blue Mountain Bund is at the 6th floor of a centrally located building near East Nanjing Road. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from The Bund. The staff were pretty helpful and there's free Internet and wifi access. Food's a bit pricey at the restaurant though.

The staff was excellent. They took care of all of our needs. Suggestions: better light for reeading in the loft. The heat needs to be regulated better. Cold down below and very warm in the loft.

This is my third time in Shanghai.. This place is the best so far (stayed in Rock Bund Hostel and a three star hotel). My parents stayed in the most expensive room (which was quite large) and my husband and I stayed in the deluxe room, but it only fit a bed. I couldn't expect any better for what I paid. The cafe/bar was great. The only drawback is you cannot excess WiFi in your room, only in the cafe/bar. They had extra blankets, pillows, etc. and the front desk/servers spoke great English.

Please, don't book the 6 people rooms. They are in the 7th floor, and it seems the staff don't care the cleanliness in that floor. They just care about the 6th
