The location of the hostel is really great! We also liked the common areas and the rooftop terrace. It was also really clean. Be careful though when booking private rooms - the basic double rooms don't have windows and are more like a hole than a room, and the air inside is wet and smelly. Also the drinks at the bar were not good.

Located on a quiet side street near the walking street. Good location to the metro. I couldn't connect to wifi during my stay. They said it was my phone, however I could connect everywhere else just not at the hostel. Plastic bags in dorm rooms should be banned!

Average hostel, probably wouldn't stay there again as the shower rooms and dormitory dI'd not smell very nice.

We stayed in a room right next to the rooms that house the cleaning ladies. They were pretty loud at night when we were sleeping. One night, I had to come out of the room to tell them to be quiet.

Great hostel, very warm and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is great, has a rooftop patio where you can chill, drink, smoke and play pool. Great place to meet people and have a good time.

I loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff of the hostel. They were very helpful and knowledgable about the area and Shanghai as a whole.

location is not bad - 500m away from East Nanjin pedestrian road (though that is pretty far from a subway station at night) - quite a sketchy feeling area as well (as per local WC clean (cleaned every 30 minutes) areas were clean. Strange, because when i wake up in the morning would my legs itch with bites. I'm pretty sure it's not bed bugs as I checked very carefully. perhaps some mosquitoes? Great people, great atmosphere. Not overly loud (go out instead).

I had a deluxe room for one night and it was perfect. It had a very nice spacious outside deck (balcony), with a table and chairs, and a nice view. The location of the hostel is very convenient for the metro, with direct trains to both Shanghai airports. The night I arrived, I walked to see The Bund. The way between the hostel and The Bund is pleasant, along a creek. Overall: a perfect base.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a private room with shared bathroom. The hostels location is awesome. It is on a side road from the main pedestrian street thus you can find great local eats, food vendors and get out from the overly touristy area despite being right next to it. The rooms are very small and ours did not have a window. The guest area is great with a giant rooftop patio. Wifi is very spotty but the bathrooms are pretty private and showers have decent water pressure.

In general, the hostel was a nice place to rest. Although on their website say it was wheelchair accessible, it wasnt quite wheelchair friendly. Going to the bathroom, you had to climb up stairs. Not all the bathroom were Western Style bathroom and their quite small. The showers were very small too for wheelchairs. You must request a chair to transfer or otherwise your wheelchair will get wet. The staff members are friendly but the problem is that the counter is way to high for them to see you.

I really liked the hostel. Not only does it offer a very nice atmosphere with a lot of international guests and a nice and relaxing common area, but it is also situated very central in a nice area where you still feel safe even if it's late. All in all I had a very pleasant experience staying there.

The hostel located near the main city street (10 minute walk). The stuff is very helpful and the view from the room was excellent. The hostel has great atmosphere and all the facilities which are needed for travelers. A perfect hostels that I would recommend visiting for everyone who gets to Shanghai.

Not the easiest hostel to find as it is upstairs in another building Pretty central for getting around

Awesome terrace and great location. The common area could use more couches and comfortable seating in a social configuration. Its mostly just restaurant tables and hard chairs which aren't exactly comfortable.

Its a solid hostel. Nice common area and pool table. Dorms a bit cramped. Recommended.
