It took us a while to find the right hostel, perhaps more apparent signs/arrows from the subway to the hostel could be an improvement...but ok..we found it with some help, too.

Common bath its OK to average... Their doesnt have public Kitchen... the Bar its OK but overpriced... The terrace doesnt have nothing special its just a huge empty space... The security its good and their provide lockers into the room. its not a cosy hostel, this place is into a Office building so you get what you paid.

The location is the best part about the hostel. Very close to everywhere you want to be in Shanghai. I thought the staff were a little bit rude at times, but others were very nice and helpful at other times. It didn't feel crowded, but there were a good amount of other travelers to meet and talk to.

The location is excellent just off east nanjing road and near the Bund. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the bathrooms could be cleaned more often. Good wifi signal in the common area but not in the rooms. Easy to get to and from the airport if you're on a layover like I was. However, they ask for a deposit of 100 CNY for the key card, and as I was just there for an evening and leaving early the next day, that amounted to most of my money. However, they offered to reduce it to 50CNY.

the common restroom was unexpectedly clean. the terrace is quite nice to take a fresh breathe. Although a lady staff gave me an attitude when I tried to borrow some plates.

Very nice hostel in excellent location. Within walking distance of the bund and people's square and if you're happy to walk for 45 minutes plus you can also walk to the French Concession area. The communal showers and toilets are very clean and the dorms are comfortable with enough space. If you go for the cheap double/twin room you may end up with a very small room with no window and this is why it's cheap so don't complain, you're in Shanghai remember!

The staff was nice and pricing was economical. However, I find that the rooms are a bit dirty, but nothing serious. The base moulding was peeling and looked really dirty. Also, I didn't like the smell of the rooms but my partner said it smelled okay.

The location is very convenient, right in the city centre. The atmosphere there during my stay was very quiet. It was an overall good experience. It's definitely a nice and convenient place to stay in Shanghai.

A very good location, staff were friendly and helpful when I had questions. It would be helpful to have a sign on the outside of the building as it took me awhile to find the place!

Supposedly they have just won "best staff" award which is displayed everywhere. I don't know who they are trying to kid, from there don't care attitude towards EVERYTHING to me having to wake up the receptionist at 3pm to ask a question and him being annoed I woke him up. Or there I the girl with glasses who works on the bar with a rediculous attitude problem . She took ages to make my coffee so i satdown, an even thoughshe wasn't doing anything, she refused to bring it over. Staff awefull

PROS: Fairly large & comfortable lounge area for guests to mingle and do their work. Nanjing East metro station, the famous Nanjing East pedestrian mall and Shanghai Bund are all within 15 minutes' walk. CONS: A horrible smell of puke along the hallway and rooms smell a bit. They don't make the beds till 3pm so if you check in early, you will have to wait. Pillow is very thin. Very slow wi-fi connection.

The towels and the bedshits should be renewed
