It's an alright hostel but it's not great. It's in a fairly good location with access to Nanjing Road, the Bund and a lot of street food. The beds and showers are decent but it's a typical party hostel so it's crowded and noisy. Sleeping wasn't easy as the reception played (rather terrible) music until 1am. There's no kitchen and the computers they provided are slow and just plain difficult. It wasn't a terrible hostel, but you could probably do better

The location is great.

Great location, although far enough from the subway to be a little bit difficult to get your stuff there...especially if you aren't sure exactly where on the street it is (I think there might have been a nearer subway exit than the one they tell you to use in their directions, but don't take my word for it). Other than that, simple and as comfortable as you would expect of a $10 accommodation.

Nice staff and clean facilities. Not really good English, but still is easier to go there than it looks like. In addition, it's close to the attractions and they serve "safe" food.

It's nice. The location is good.

Hostel has great location, great staff with amazing English and nice hot showers. However the price is quite expensive for the small room size, and the price of drinks etc at the cafe is higher than average for a hostel. The hostel is also fairly noisy at night especially on a weekend as lots of people are up at late hours walking up and down the hallway. Probably a fun hostel if you want to meet people and party, but not really if you want a quiet & early night's sleep

Super amazing hostel to stay in! Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Infact they also helped me by talking to a chinese airlines in chinese even if the conversation lasted for half an hour! They went out of the way to make me comfortable. The lounge room is excellent and you can expect to meet travelers from all over the world, if you are lucky like me you might make best of friends with them. The view of the balcony from the hostel is absolutely breathtaking!

Nice hostel. The dorm, although small, had nice, big lockers. Each bed had an outlet, light, and little shelf. The bathrooms were a bit open and it got noisy at night, but other than that I would recommend it!

我是上个礼拜用你们民宿的韩国人,我非常非常喜欢你们的服务跟环境。 谢谢

AWESOME HOSTEL! It's only 5-8mins walk to the nearest subway and 15mins walk to the Bund and it's a perfect place to mingle with international guests. The toilets were clean & the showers had good hot water. Dorms were reasonably sized & individual lockers was provided inside each dorm. 2 washing machines & dryers were also available at cny10 per wash and per dry. The staffs were all friendly and speaks good english. Will definitely stay here again if I visit Shanghai :)

Enjoyed our stay in a private room: clean room, shower is better than we've found in many much more expensive hotels, good lighting in the room, comfortable bed. Even a bit of a view from the window!

Great location!!! Subway station very near, 95% of the staff speaks fluent english, helpful and polite, clean rooms, we stayed at a deluxe double room and it was very comfortable. Would definitely go back, highly recommended :)

Well located hostel close to East Nanjing road subway & easy to get to from the airport. Very helpful staff in a really busy hostel. Lots of cheap places to eat in the street below. Warm which is essential in winter and outside deck for the summer time.

I just stayed one night here, but I loved the location (super easy to get to from the airport). Also since it was winter it was nice being in a bigger building with heating.

Hostel was great! Staff were friendly and helpful. A lot of people staying there, so the common area got crowed quickly. Great location, right between The Bund and People's Square. Would stay again!

Solid place to stay, would have enjoyed the rooftop patio more if it were summer!

We stayed in a standard twin bedroom, it was more like a nice hotel room than a hostel! With nice view :) very close to the Bund, nanjing road, people's park and the subway. staff speak English!

Everything was good, but it was not easy to find this hostel at the first time. This hostel is at same building with other hotels, so yeah, this needs more sign. Just corner away from one of the biggest shopping area and bund. I liked the bar they having. Internet doesn't work well, but fine. I can wait for few secs. Well, I stayed with my sisters in private room, and room worth the money, but my friend who stayed at 4 female dorm said her room is not big enough.

I booked a private room so I didn't have to use the shared bathroom, but I did find the bathroom location a bit strange. Otherwise, everything is great about this place, very convenient and had all the usual facilities.
