Very good value for the money. A quiet place and the private rooms are more spacious than I expected -- feels more like a hotel. Outside of the city center but the subway is close by.

We stayed in a double room with private ensuite. This hostel was very well equipped, more like a hotel. The location was excellent, 5 minute walk from the metro, which made it very easy to get around. There were also a lot of great noodle, snack local eateries next to the hostel and very affordable! Highly recommend this hostel. Staff spoke good English.

Nice hostel, great staff, each of them very nice and helpful. one negative thing to comment on- my room's floor was very dirty, it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. Advise to upgrade the level of cleaness.

Our room was quite big and one of the cleanest we have had in China. Only the reception area seems narrow and crammed, so it's maybe not the best place to hang around. The white wall on the other hand, onto which guests can leave their greetings, is a great idea! The location directly at the main metro line is perfect.

Wifi works fine, smells like cat urine, showers covered in bugs, not conveniently located near town but easy enough to find. Nice staff. Nice tall beds with a plug, light, and a shelf provided for each bed. Small reception is the only place to hang out. Early morning construction inside building 30feet from rooms.

Such a pleasant experience whilst staying at the blue mountain! It's conveniently situated about three minutes walk away from the metro line two, connecting you to all parts of the city! The staff are extremely helpful, friendly, have a high level of English and are available 24/7 at the desk to help you with any enquiries! There are lots of restaurants and local shops nearby which stay open till late! Nicest hostel in Shanghai, not to mention the cheapest! Thank you to all the amazing staff!!

I stayed here for a night before flying out of the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport. It's only 2 stops from Terminal 2, so it makes it a convenient place to stay. It was a standard hostel, but unfortunately the lobby wasn't very big. One plus, though, was the free wifi in the rooms.

A little out of town, but nice and close to line 2 so it's easy to get to town. Room was nice, service very good, and staff spoke English well. WiFi Internet worked very well in the room.

Nothing too exciting, but a great place to stay for a night to catch a flight, as the location is very near the metro. A very clean and quiet place to catch up on some rest. As advertised.

The location was ok, 5 minutes from the metro station where you can get on line 2 (where pretty much EVERYTHING) is. The staff is pretty nice and the people that stay here are nice. It was good for one night or two.
