Very good hostel. The location is perfect, it's not in a too busy street but you can easily go anywhere with the metro being just outside the froot door. The staff was really helpful and answered all my questions to organize my next trip. The rooms and bathrooms are all clean. The lobby is a nice place to rest. Good value for money for an hostel in Shanghai ! I definitely recommend this place.

Even though it was a bit more complicated to find it after the subway stops at night, it was still a great situation. It's not as main stream as in the Bund but you are more directly in a Chinese neighborhood. And food around is plenty and rather cheap! People who stay there are not just looking for the touristy Shanghai, but they are all very friendly and welcoming! Also: best long island iced tea ever ;) Such an awesome stay. Thank you all, I'll miss you!

My first hostel stay. Loved it. Had a comfortable little room with private bath. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Price was inexpensive and hostel located right in front of subway line. Very convenient.

The hostel was a lovely place to stay. The staff was all very nice; Jennifer, Coca, and Sun (I think) were all happy to help with any questions or problems I had regarding the hostel itself, or anything that I needed or wanted to do in the city, or even out of the city. They were a pleasure to interact with. Doors open 24 hours, that's always a plus. Met some nice people in the communal areas, too. Great 24 hour noodle place next door, (Yao Ming has apparently eaten there) so eat there.

Ok hostel in Shanghai, close to Metro. The room (single) was moldy and damp. The clothes couldn't dry and the sheets felt a little bit wet. The staff were not that helpful and service minded. As all mention before us, the wifi sucked.

I lived in a private room without a bathroom. The room was clean and well-equipped--a TV, a kettle, cups, and a hair dryer available. There was a very cozy common room with a TV and a pool table there. I didn't like the toilet because there was a terrible smell there during my stay. The location of the hostel is fantastic--just next to the Lu Ban Rd station of line 4. The staff was helpful and friendly.

When you don´t speak chinesse the staff becomes the most valuable asset if they help you. Only one memeber didn´t want to help me, I can´t give them a bad review because of one person, but the rest of the gays had always great attitud to help.

Overall a good place to stay. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was warm, and the room was clean. However, the smell of the bathrooms was a little off-putting, despite the signs advertising that they were cleaned every half hour. It was in a good location, close to the metro, but the map has the wrong address; it'll get you to the right street, but to the wrong building.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The girl who's running the bar makes excellent cocktails and really makes an effort in getting people to interact with each other. Great girl! The staff behind the counter is also really friendly and can help you with anything

I have stayed many times in this hostel and the best thing is the subway line 4 opposite the hostel. Also the hostel has redecorated the entrance to the hostel. The smoking area, reception area and the big living room is aswell redecorated. Now they have a bar where you can buy drinks from. Also the new shopping mall Huijing Life Squere opposite the subway station on the other side of the big road makes this area even better.Bravo Supermarket, Saizerya Italian restaurant,Mc Donalds

The staff was very warm, helpful and friendly and that made my stay quite pleasant. It would be nice to have a small breakfast available for guests.

Great hostel, really friendly with very helpful staff who speak excellent English and go out of their way to help. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hostel in Shanghai. Little but out of the centre but right next to metro and walkable to tianzifang. Cosy bar with pool open until 1.

Last weekend I stayed with two friends of me, for three nights in this hostel. We really did have a great time. The location was really good. Opposite the hostel is a subway station and within 8 minutes walk you are in a buzy street with a lot of smal shops. The room is just okey. It was only unfortunate that only two of the vife sockets worked. We also found it a pity that there were no eat or drink facilities in the hostel, but there is a supermarket nearby.

Dear guest , thanks . All the feedback are really important to the hostel for future improvement. our hostel is located in the local resident area. There is a lot of local traditional food in the neighborhood that allows all the guests to experience the true shanghainess life style and food.。Also, for the safety concern, there is a main switch for the socket, and our maintenance man will stay in our hostel if you inform our reception with any problem. wish to see you next time:)

Generally, it's a pretty nice place to stay, especially the location, which is only 1 minute's walk from the nearest metro. Also, the staffs were nice and helpful. The only disadvantage is that there's no access to Internet collection in the room (Anyway, you can always collect to wifi in the common room). So if you really don't care about the wifi stuff, this hostel is highly recommended.
