I was very disappointed by the staff at this hostel. The greeting at the front desk was practically non-existent. No "Hello", no "Welcome". They didn't tell us that breakfast was free and from 7am to 9am. When I asked basic questions about the city and things to do and see, they couldn't give me a straight answer, or wouldn't bother doing so. They closed the bar where we were drinking and having fun 2 hours earlier than showed on the sign outside, and more. At least, it was clean.

Enjoyed my stay. Clean, secure, close to subway. They were great about getting me a train ticket. Nice to have breakfast, though it was very simple. Only low mark would be for very slow wi-fi that was only available in the lobby and bar/restaurant.

Breakfast was very impressive. Most guests were in groups that they are coming and going for all day and all night. This hostel must be very popular. Many young peoples were from Europe. I met a sharp looking professional New Zealander also. Only negative thing was too many young Europeans were smoking too much. The receptionists were kind and friendly. J. Lee from Atlanta, GA USA

Very nice hostel with all the facilities you may need on your travels. Very very clean. Breakfast has a big variety of things to offer, only thing missing is the coffee. Very comfortable wide beds. Close to subway. There are not many eateries around but there is a Carrefour supermarket a few minutes walk from the hostel.

It was a really nice hostel here and I met lots of great people in the hostel during my stay. The locations is also good, and it is a relaxing place to stay, too.

At 4AM in the morning, drunk woman screamed at the outside of my room. When I complained this incident to the staff, they said that this is not unusual. For location, if you never travel to Shanghai, don't choose this hostel. You never find it. Due to a long layover at the airport, I made a last minute reservation, which turn out to be a super bad.

A little outside of the city center, but near to the subway so accessing the city is easy. Very large hostel with a variety of rooms. Dorm room was clean and had good beds. Rooms are secure, and locker provided. Need your own lock. Some staff were a bit cold, but overall somewhat helpful. Free breakfast included, but not very good quality. Dumplings and other food was cold. Toast and jam, juices are also available. Bar plays annoyingly loud music, making it hard to relax.

Is like a big hotel with dorms in rooms. Bathrooms where dark and old. The sink is in the end of the corridor with no doors. Staff don't do anything than check you in, all the rest you have to find out for your self.

Best hostel ive stayed in so far. Breakfast in the morning although was simple made the day easier and you could order full English if you wanted to. The bar had a really chilled out vibe and the perfect place to hang out and meet people in the evening very good if you a lone traveller like myself. Really enjoyed my stay here if was so close to anywhere i wanted to go due to the metro.

At first we went into the hostel and it was nice. Looked good and was not too far of a walk from the station, (the station is on the 3/4 line) We had a look at the bar area which was really nice and we couldn’t wait to go and have a drink there at night. Then went into the bedroom at like half 12 -1pm and the girls were still sleeping (which is fine) however the beds hadn't been changed, albeit when if asked the changed them when i left. When we got back to the hostel the atmosphere was

It's perfect value for money.I didn't regret a second booking that hostel. Atmosphere is very nice and cozy, staff is helpful. We even had breakfast (what I somehow missed at the beginning while choosing it). Well it's a hostel, you don't have to expect 5* hotel quality. I didn't have big expectations, but was pleasantly surprised after. It is located little bit far from all the attractions, but it is stones to the Underground station and takes 10-15 min to get to the a very heart of the city.

Really enjoyed the stay. Like the bar. Very clean, which was great! Not much atmosphere in the bar though, not the staff's fault. Loads of people on lap tops. Perhaps an evening with something on eg big match, pool competition something like that? Oh, and a second toaster for breakfast!
