LISTEN TO ME: Go to this hotel. The breakfast buffet is the best food you'll eat all day, even if you compared it to the street food. The front desk ladies are the cutest and nicest people ever, and are so freaking helpful and patient. The beds are super clean! This was my favorite hotel when I stayed in Vietnam for 10 days. It's right in one of the main backpacking streets, YET the rooms are so quiet! I couldn't hear the street outside. I would definitely recommend this place.
Nice, friendly, open and helpful staff.
fine for a few nights in ho chi minh city. tour group downstairs weren't very pleasant when we enquired - but they got the job done. breakfast was ok - staff upstairs for breakfast were great. rooms were enough, but nothing spectacular.
Great hotel - the location was perfect. The staff we have helpful and friendly. Will definitely recommend this to anyone going to Saigon.

This hostel has a great location in the heart of old Saigon. It is walking distance to some of the major sites, such as the Fine Arts Museum and War Remnants Museum, as well as shops, bars and restaurants. The hostel itself has a great bar over-looking the city and sells cheap beer. The staff were very friendly and can give you a map and advice as soon as you arrive. Would definitely stay here again.
Great value for $32/night. You get: an outstanding buffet breakfast, plus made to order eggs, etc., Western standard bathroom with a very nice shower, small, but efficient room, comfortable bed and pillows, and quiet air conditioner. Very polite, but efficient staff; their greetings at breakfast were a little too much, but you get over it and just proceed with the breakfast. Roof top bar with great views and not-so-loud music was quite pleasant for an after-dinner drink and hanging out.
The hotels motto was we are family and you certainly felt like it great hotel and the staff where fantastic very helpful and the Bar / Restaurant on the 7th Floor was brillitant you could get away from the busy street life and enjoy the city
My fiance and I booked one night at Duc Vuong, but liked it so much we ended up booking for a total of 5 nights. The staff were extremely friendly, even calling us by our first names when we'd leave and enter the hotel. Free wifi was always good in any location in the hotel. Breakfast was decent enough as well, although they do not have speciality coffees (lattes, americanos, etc). Recommend this hotel if you are a couple, and don't mind paying a little more than regular hostel prices.
