Duc Vuong was a fantastic place to stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and do everything possible to make your stay comfortable. Buffet breakfast was really good and also had a nice rooftop bar with great views of the city at night. Hotel had a great atmosphere. The rooms were good with a modern bathroom. Hotel was in a great location not quite in the compact and hectic centre of Ho Chi Minh but can walk to most places including Ben Thanh market. Definitely recommend to stay here.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they welcome you, clean rooms, lovely rooftop garden, perfect location in backpackers location. Would definitely stay again. So far best place we stayed in Vietnam. Thankyou to Linda and the rest of the crew!

Everything was perfect at this hotel. they are extremely attentive. possibly overly attentive. we really liked this hotel. the only thing I must say is DO NOT DRINK THE TEA THEY ARE ALWAYS SERVING YOU IN THE LOBBY. THEY DO NOT WASH THE CUPS. THEY ONLY DUMP THE UNUSED TEA IN THE VASE ON THE COFFEE TABLE. Otherwise everything was perfect.

We booked the basic double room and when we got there it was incredibly small and had ants all over the toilet. We were moved to a bigger room while they sorted the ant problem and we decided to stay there the following night instead of going back to the other room. The staff were very friendly and always asked how our day was and had no problem suggesting places to go and see. This hotel however is not great value for money, there are a number of cheaper places nearby.

Great Hotel, nice and helpfull staff, good located at the backpacker area, nice rooms and facilities and a really good breakfast. A must-return-to hotel. It was a great stay and the nicest hotel we saw in Vietnam. You get more for the money you invest than you expect.

This was our second time staying here and we were again delighted with our stay - the staff are incredibly friendly, the buffet breakfast is tasty, and the rooms are comfortable with cable tv, airconditioning and plenty of hot water. The location is great too, with plenty of bars and restaurants around. Their rooft top bar is also a good place to hang out and get some quiet time. Would definately recommend!

Really friendly staff pouring us tea and telling us about Tet as soon as we arrived. The room was smaller than expected but the air con worked and the buffet breakfast was amazing!! A great way to start a trip in Ho Chi MInh.

Thought this place was the best value for money in Vietnam. Very friendly staff and fantastic buffet breakfast, although the promise of free dinner didn't transpire with no real explanation as to why. Room we booked was also upgraded on check in from $22 room to $38 room. Couldn't really understand this as the $38 room seemed very small already. Of course, when we decided to stay another night we were charged $38 for the room. Something to look out for maybe. All in all though, very nice.

Great find in District 1! Wish we would have found this earlier in our trip. Enjoyed the free tea and roptop view. Staff service was excellent. We would go back if ever in Saigon.

Good value if you stay in certain rooms, but having stayed in a room on the 9th floor and then on the 6th I don't think they should be charged at the same rate.

Breakfast is breathtaking, continental. You can find traditional Vietnamese, but ham, cheese, delicious jams, coffee, tea, fruits, eggs, everything, so good to start the day with a big breakfast. Rooms were very clean, although a bit small. City is hot, but air con. helped us quickly to cool down. :) Situation is perfect, just on the street with hundreds of good restaurants (traditional, indian, mexican, italian, etc.) and travel agencies, party places. Good value for money!

I stayed here with my partner in December and again in February. Both times we were helped by lovely, friendly and welcoming staff. And both times we were very impressed with our room and services. We have recommended Duc Vuong Hotel to other travellers. Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay at Duc Vuong. The staff is really nice, and tries their best to help as good as possible. The room was quite small, but has all your basic need, except a fridge. There's a really nice roof top tarrace, where you can enjoy cold drinks from the bar. And there's a water dispenser free of charge to use in the hall.
