It´s a cheap hostel so you can´t expect to much.... The showers (cold) where on the first floor and you had to cross a patio first. There was one toilet and that was also on the first floor. The rooms were on the second and thirth floor. Spacious and with high ceilings. The beds were ok. Kitchen was to be used when you stayed there more than 3 or 4 days. But it was ok. And they have a lot of activities (we were there only one night, so we didn´t participate in any).

Fusion is located near the main square, where there 's always a police van day and night. It is also close to the bus stop. Staff is willing to give advice, especially for going out at night. Sometimes there are cultural activities in the great hall as percussion and contact improvisational dance ...

I stayed at Fusion Guesthouse during the Carnaval and it was just great. First of all, it was very cheap compared to the other hostels. In addition to this, the dorms are veeeery spacious, well-cleaned and you get a big locker for your whole backpack. The location is perfect...you are just in the heart of Pelourinho! also the staff and the atmosphere - really nice!

Good location in Salvador, close to main plazas etc. Lots of activities going on We arrived very early and we offered a dorm to sleep whilst the people checked out of our private room +++. The private room (at the top of the stairs) wasnt really private, only separated from the dorms by the lockers). Staff were very helpful and got us a fan as the room was quite warm. Good value, however if a simple breakfast was included it would be great value. Update the photos as they don't do it justice

Very different from others places. almost like hippie place. but with all its mistakes I must say it was worth. Try it and you will see.

well,... the first thing i liked when i get there was that the location was really central and there was always a police car in the middle of the square .i enjoyed to deal with The staff they were all really friendly and available to go out to enjoy salvador by night.(thanks guys)...i was surprised when i found out this hostel has an integrated cultural center in it..so that sometimes you get some percussion workshops, specially saturday afternoon....i enjoyed that music experience
