When I first arrived at Fusion I was a little taken aback because it does not look like the arabian paradise in the photos. But honestly you get what you pay for, after I was settled I grew to really like the atmosphere. I thought I was pretty comfortable. The showers are super dark, no matter the time of day, so be prepared for that. Oh yeah, and there are LOTS of stairs. I really liked the staff too, the nice guy with the longs dreds is awesome!

Doesn´t look like the photos- it is an open planned design with hammocks and mattresses on the floor in the reception- to chill out on. The toilets and showers are outside and you should be prepared for people to see some skin. The rooms are basic, kinda bohemian but very cool. The location can´t be beaten and the staff would go out of their way to help- amazing staff!!! The location can´t be beaten either.

This is a perfect hostel for easy going people who do not mind walking 1000 stairs per day. :) It is a short walk from historic center and I loved the fact that almost everything inside of the hostel was made by staff or travellers. The rooms are big and music well selected, I enjoied capoeira classes and I loved their kitten!

A bit apprehensive about the hostel because of other reviews but it was excellent. It was clearly early days but the location was superb and the view from the rooms was incredible. The staff are a bit inexperienced but so ready to help out, and can do a deal for a long stay. We ended up staying 1 week during carnival and it was fantastic.

The rooms are all on one big floor and seperated by wooden panels. When we have been there, there was only one room finished, the others were in construction. The general idea of the hostel is good, it is supposed to be a meeting place between travelers and locals, but there is still lots of construction to do until the hostel is finished.
