It has been my third time at Generator, it has always been great. The location is perfect less than a ten minute walk from st pancras. Now, the hostel is completely refurbirshed so no problem of cleanliness. It has a real nice modern look and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

Good hostel in a nice location. The breakfast was nice, although not included in the price of your stay. Good bar and atmosphere.

I watend for over 1 1/2 Hour for a Pizza. After three inquieries it tourned out they forgot it. In Addition for 18 pounds per night one would expect, that the very simple breakfast was included, well it was not. London is expensive, but even for London that was not worth the money.

One if the best hostels I've stayed in. Fun, friendly and clean, perfect for young people on a budget. The only small issue was the quality of the wifi in the bedrooms. Although it worked perfectly downstairs

Nice and clean hostel, but heating did not work, I was cold during a night and I Felt like not been trest as an adult by the stuff and hostels rules.

It is a good hostel for young people and who are willing to party. There are security guards at the access on night. Showers could be more private. Bathrooms were cleaned every day, but the cleanliness depended on the other guests. Beds are comfortable. Would recommend to young people.

i only stayed for a few hours so i didn't have the opportunity to fully enjoyed the facilities but i had a nice stay. Rooms are secured by key card, there are lockers in the hallway, there were 3 security guards at entrance. my only criticism is that the bathroom had no door and anyone could have walked in and that's really not a great point.

Pleasantly surprised as I'm not usually a fan of large hostels. Staff deserve a shout out for coordinating some last minute arrangements to get us to a football match in time. Free wi-fi, comfy beds, good hang out areas. Rooms are located away from the "nightclub" so you don't have to worry if you're not the partying type. Only downside is no free breakfast & a poor option for 3-4 pounds (?). Hot breakfast for 1 pound more was alright. My sister said her food was good from the restaurant.

Breakfast should be included.

This hostel is a little bit far away from the center of London, but that's the only bad part of it : staff is really welcoming, and the facilities are great : I'll especially remember the 2 movies projected for free nearly every day.

The staff were not overly friendly or helpful. The communal area with the cafe, restaurant and bar area would be good if you're interested in being social and partying, but if you're after a relaxing stay it is not ideal as you can even hear the niose in your room until 2am . Most importantly, the bathroom cleanliness was very poor and the facilities in general were not very nice. I was dissapointed and thought it was overpriced for what you get.

The staff were extremely helpful. Went out of their way to do whatever they could to help and make sure my stay was a good one.

The building is beautiful, the staff really helpful and everything's really clean. It's huge though, with too many people for my taste. Also, the bathrooms were really uncomfortable to shower, lacking hooks or anything to lay your clothes on without getting them wet. Other than that it's a great hostel with everything you need.

Phone was stolen, rude unhelpful staff, no atmosphere, toilets and showers flooded and dirty, expensive, will charge you a ridiculous price for just about anything.

Security was a bit over the top. Otherwise, it was Okay.

Good beds! Refurnished bar and chill area since I was there! Showers and restroom are still dirty. Wifi didn't work on Apple phones or tablets
