Poor ventilation means the hostel had the smell of sweat. One person inside our room had a horrible smelly feet and was snoring the whole night. I wish there was some sort of snoring policy because I could not get any sleep even with headphones on.

Hello dear Guest, thanks for your opinion it help us to improve. The hostel has an air conditioner and heatther as we`ll. We clean everyday twice at day and we use flavoring for a good smell, the cleaning is the most important for us. We also provied private rooms where you can enjoy by you own and find the comfort you are looking for. All the best from GCH Family!!!

Amazing location! Gracia is my favourite neighbourhood in Barcelona by far. Other than that, the hostel was okay! Not much of a social atmosphere (but maybe that was October), doors that were difficult to unlock, etc. would visit again just for gracia

Hello, Thanks for chosing Gracia CIty Hostel. We are glad to see that your enjoy your stay with us. Gracia is one of the best neighborhoods in Barcelona, furthermore of this great location, the soul of the place with planty squares and bar`s to going out make you feel in an homemade town. Is true that October is more quiet that summer time, but if you want to socialize just come and enjoy our family`s dinner`s every nigh in the kitchen ; ) Thanks for your visit!!!!

Can only compliment the staff as they were very helpful. We stayed in a "superior" 4 bed mixed dorm but nothing about it seemed superior. Luckily for 2 of our 4 nights the other bunk bed was not in use but 1 of the nights we came back to someone on the bottom bunk of the other bunk carving a wooden lighter with a pocket knife so we decided to try and move rooms for the night and the staff catered to this request superbly, without fuss. The showers are very grotty and used, not the best at all.

The staff at Gracia City were really friendly and always so helpful! We stayed in a private double room which was pretty nice. The hostel is in a great location. There are tons of interesting shops and restaurants nearby, and we were able to walk to a lot of places quite easily from there (Parc Guell took about 30-35 min, Sagrada Familia about 40 min, Casa Batlio 10 min, Plaza Catalunya 20 min) The staff kept the place very clean, great atmosphere there too.
