The best hostel I've ever stayed in. They have it all: good location, clean, safe, plenty of space in the rooms (no luggage on the way) and a very nice bar/restaurant downstairs. I highly recommend it!

One of the cleanest hostels I stayed at. The atmosphere is a really good and the location is very central. The only downside is the 50% over charge they impose if you ask for a late check out. I was charged twice $25 for a late checkout until 3pm. I was once promised that I could stay until 6pm, but they came and asked me to leave at 4pm. Other than this, I highly recommend.

Really lively hostel with a great atmosphere, feels safe and is fairly clean. You're guaranteed to meet lots of people here though I think compared to other places it could be a little cheaper.

This place is pretty sweet with great amenities and amazing beds. The rooms were a little smelly (think like a college boys room), but I am not sure there was much they could do about that. They really do a good job of keeping their guests entertained. And drunk. Entertainingly drunk.

Best hostel i've stayed in. Staff are great, helpful and a good mixture of local and westerners. always something going and staff were always there to point you in the right direction. Would HIGHLY recommend their Castaway tour they provide. Little bit on the steep side in terms of money ($200) but it was worth every penny! Best 3 days i had in Vietnam

This place has a great atmosphere and facilities. They have individual reading lights, lockers, and small personal security boxes by the beds. They do an excellent free breakfast with three choices and the location is perfect! The staff were all very helpful and when we had to rush off to catch a taxi to the airport of a morning they even made our breakfast to go for us! It should be kept in mind that it is a party hostel though, so not for you if you're looking for rest and relaxation!

Really enjoyed this hostel. This particular location is definitely in the center of the night life and therefore overwhelming in terms of traffic. that being said, I would highly recommend it. They offer a free walking tour and met many other great backpackers here.

Great place. Each dorm bed had its own outlet and locker. The keys that they give you ensure safety. The fifth floor was a nice hang out area. The Castaway Tour is great fun but definitely expensive.

This hostel is well located in the old quarter. The staff is very nice and there is a nice chill room on the 5th floor. This hostel is perfect for people who wants to party! However if your are looking for a quiet place, I would suggest to avoid this place.

Amazing hostel. Security was very good. Breakfast was nice. Staff were amazing though, combination of Vietnamese and English/Australian travellers working there, they really made the stay the best, so helpful but you had such a laugh with them. Would really recommend the castaways trip to Halong bay, best weekend of my life!

This place was not for me, was essentially like staying in a club (at least until 11 pm). For a solo traveller, found it pretty hard to meet people because it was so noisy, but going on the tour of the city and the bar crawl at night helped. Breakfast was really nice (had the pancakes) and the staff were nice too. Just too big and noisy for my liking, can get a nicer place for less money (went to little hanoi diamond, I recommend that place).

An excellently run "Mega" Hostel. Very clean, lots of fun, great staff, good facilities. I very very rarely ever rate anything this high. This is truly a top notch establishment. It is a party hostel, but they do a good job of keeping it under control. Internet can be a bit dodgy; and naturally tours, food, and drinks are pricey. However, their food is very good and they have some decent drink promos to compensate. I would recommend the hostel without hesitation.
